work and break

back at the shop today
morning was fabulous
great ragged clouds
in a bruised array of
colours
blue sky shinning beyond
in spaces here and there
the lake frozen i suspect
a bone green colour

they put new plastic on
our tables no more
Jackson Pollack imitation
floors washed and vacumed
tables cleaned up
all those loose paints
there were on my table
all put away and tidied
up

my new work is a mailbox
that when finished will
have flowers on the lid
im expecting it to be
tedious

no snow either downtown
or anywhere so strange
to not have any
i watch the news and see
the american mid west
getting dumped on and
even our canadian winnipeg
but so far North Bay has
very little

my freind who is building
his art home/property
Screaming Heads
phoned me and wished me
a happy new year
on new years day
that was very nice and
thoughtful of him
its good to hear his
voice and what he is up
too He is still filming
his movie he is making
about a story about the
place

he has been on weird homes
and many many many other
shows concerning his home
and property

fifteen minutes left on my
break time
will go and have a coffee
now
maybe look up U-tube and
watch some old vintage
