so what

dripping from the branchs
silver droplets
noon breeze

drag myself out of bed
pour my old coffee down
the sink and watch
the weather out the
window overlooking the
small section of side
yard and the neighbours
roof

its cold steam is coming
from the sewer vent on the
roof and i can see vapours
two houses down from the
gas chimney

i make coffee and wash my
cup and in that short period
of time it starts to snow
just a light snowfall
following the gusts through
the branchs melting when
they hit the roof and on
the ground

saturday
official house cleaning day
and guest arrival eventuality
vacumed/dishs/countertops/bathroom
mopped/bathroom/kitchen floors
Lori dusted put away living room
stuff and kitchen stuff made
the bed cleaned up the bedroom
apartment was tidy and clean
and scrubbed when we were done

guests arrived after twelve
stayed for dinner Our usual
Saturday guest came too and we
all ended up having dinner
and playing the old Nintendo
game Super Mario something or
other the game is vintage
i didnt play though i suck
at those games but they did
seem put out that i didnt try
after all its just a game right

guess i should have tried
oh well

guests left
put away a lot of the food
plastic wrapped the bowls of
stuff soaking the pans/pots
dishes

had a great time

drank four pots of coffee
brain is firing away but
i am not shaky
thanks to the meds i take
at bedtime

tired though

Lori made dinner i just
peeled the potatos and turned
the meat in the oven every
so often

i just remembered i have new
batteries
listened to music last night
it was nice to have that

blah blah blah
i'll stop now
