Monthly shopping excursion

Hank Williams soulfull lost voice
plaintive and wavering
guitar simple and melodic

"his heart went to Heaven

we did our chores
got our grocery supplies
put everything away i did
carried it all upstairs
and listened to Loris stories
about how she had her two
little girls and all the
groceries for them to carry
up to a second floor apartment

no man to help her then

was in the Dollarama today
it was busy and was talking
to Lori loudly about how i
dont mind cooking her her
noodles in a bowl and this
woman with three kids said
"Just have to get him to
vacum and clean windows.."
and i replied to her that
i already do that too

lots of women do everything
for the men I was trained
by women for years now
since 1989 to 2007

but you all know that
because i have written this
in my entries
deleted or otherwise

right now cooking some chicken
in the old oven which needs
cleaning

i do this too
take out the elements
scrub down the chrome trays
spray er down with oven cleaner
wait and then scrub the stuff
with towels etc

put brand new bag in vacum
bag was supposed to be universal
we bought this at WalMart
BUT
its not universal
is cheap like trash
but i make work
physicalness
stick small hole on big
pipe
plug in and make noise
work like charm

smaller too
but it works
it didnt blow off
so the machine is all
redone and will work
tommorrow for the
Saturday clean-up

this weekend i am told
i am doing the stencilling
the suns down the hallway
about eight to ten inches
down from the top of the wall

was at Dollars our Independent
store with our two grocery carts
full of goods waiting for our
cab to come

so the cab comes and we are
loading stuff into the later
model chevrolet Impalas trunk
and this little boy and his
father come from the parking
lot towards the front doors
as they pass the child asks
his father if the car we are
loading up is a race car

the cab company painted it to
look like a stock car complete
with flames on the front and
stickers and stuff
pretty rad for North Bay
heh heh

his dad said it wasnt a stock
car and the cabby laughed
and I said Sure its a stock car
just watch us take off

bought some stuff for my lunchs
sandwich and meats puddings
etc

Lori is watching the television
its raining out and its damp
bought some tea and there is
a coupon for a movie ticket
from our Galaxy movie theatre
i should go and watch a movie
tommorrow night

heh heh

orange pekoe tea
black tea my favourite

anyway just sitting here
going through my stuff
waiting and watching my
chicken cook

maybe make some tea

its nice to know we
have all our supplies
for the month in the house
and put away
everything done

looked at computer games
in the WalMart but they have
no airplane game

i used to have Mig Alley
and a F-15 or F-14 game
the first Flight Simulator
game

bought nothing
Lori says it takes to much
computer memory up
i dont know i think the disc
is used when i used to play
my games so most of the stuff
was on the disc

whatever

gotta check my chicken
