nothing like yelling
over a bus pulling
out of the bus terminal
into the phone

i dont call anyone
hardly anymore

drives Lori nuts
that i can talk for
half an hour even

whats new in N.B.?
they took out the rest
of the train trestles
across the centre of
the city
the old abandoned CNR
line
and trucked away some
of the bed fill

looks a hell of a lot
better now

still watching for the
ravens on the microwave
tower
