Sunday and a story for chaos
Hey Chaos whats the "bar" like where your beau hangs out at?? is it like Moe Sizlaks from Simpsons my bar used to be pretty beat up i had the corner stool and they knew me well i just drank alone but was freindly to everyone i drank double black russians and Kokanee beer all night until they asked me kindly to leave this usually only happened at the beginning of every month when my cheque came in and i could afford to spend the one hundred and twenty dollars during all of that time i loved the live bands and the pretty girls and the bartender bartendresses now the place is totally swanked out and is very nice Lori and i went there one night for dinner and it was pleasant as hell today was great i slept all day away woke up at five this evening went out to the reserve on the bike to pick up smokes its just across that bridge and in this little trailer thirty dollars for a pack of Golden Leaf king size the ride over was beatufiul cool and windy and the trees are full of wind and they are starting to change colour i could see the lake in spots from the hill on the way there and coming back got to see the city as i cycled on main west it was hard work and my poor ol heart was beating fast and my lungs were wheezing away but i feel great now after that workout then i went and got Lori a coffee from the Macs store and then came and got Ladyfreind from downstairs one too it was a nice drive there and back work tommorrow again i make the plaster moulds of feet for arch supports that go into peoples shoes to help stablize them when they walk and i make leg or arm plaster moulds for plastic braces that Peter and Dan make or Karen i modify the plaster build it up on spots and mould it by sanding or a grating tool adding plaster etc until the desired shape is finished this greatly frees up the time spent by the technitians to focus on moulding new forms for me to fill in the plaster room they just put the moulds in the sand box and explain to me a bit and then i do my thing work my craft that they have taught me over the seven months that i have been there i think that being an artist and having some sculpting background has definately helped me in creating the plaster peices they are all so happy that i can do this fast now and that basically i can follow their directions and make the plaster casts come out very good so the braces and supports turn out good for the people who are coming in for our help but i get to help out in making the forms sometimes and Dan or Peter or Karen always have time to explain to me the many many phases that are done to each brace as it is being created crafted machined and put together and eventually adjusted to custom fit each new person and i get to do the maintenance of machines with my shop vacum or just tidying up outside and inside its very cool and even i watch shows on prothetics when a program comes on every now and then when i am flipping around watching the television anyway must be going now more television watching until again ..O..
