i cant help it
Bruce Springsteen just
totally mesmerizes me
with his voice and rock
style

NEBRASKA blew me away when
it came out in the eighties

anyway

moons out
nights are cold
the leaves have fallen
and have been raked up
people doing last minute
work on new homes and
additions roof etc

but winter is fast approaching
the mornings are wickedly chilled
on my hands on the cold handlbars
i am glad to get to work in the
nice warm building

our boiler works fine here
our radiated heat from our
little base board water heaters
works wonders

the cool moon shines through
the venetian blinds
shapes and shadows
of dreamland beckon

i am soon to board that
mystery train
hear her lonesome steam
whistle
smell the bite of coal fire
