snowing lightly
cold
no moon
no stars

wind

christmas lights
passing cars
people out walking
anonymous in their
cloaked selves
hats toques
jackets
collars turned up

cats active
chasing each other
from this room to
the living room
and back

television loud
agressive

winter decorations
up
presents wrapped
shopping excursion
for today complete
some good gifts
purchased
some ideas left to
buy still

its supposed to warm
up and or rain

lovely
a freezing or sodden
mess
godamn global warming

Laurentian ski hill
dousing the hills
the lights ablaze
let it be cold
for everyone come
winter to snowboard
ski tube down the
hill

tired and wind burned
from waiting for the bus
sick feeling

some good chinese food
delivered by authentic
chinese man

pipes expanding
the water rad in this room
at baseboard level
the humidifier in the
living room rumbling
away the water towers
gurgling as they adjust
as the water in the bowl
evaporates

sleeping in the living room
the two couchs tucked together
the christmas tree lights
small red strings glowing
the window open a crack
to allow fresh air

sleep better then i have in
ages
the cats come to sleep between
us or on top of us as they
rouse themselves through the
night to amble about or to
eat or drink in the kitchen

the lone streetlight below the
window level and out on the pole
about fifty feet from the house
glows dully the curtian blinds
are thick and block the light

my back is killing me
parked the bike and just
walk to work now
walk back
dont wanna bust my damned
leg

ten fifty five now at night
it gets dark at five
crazy
the mall was full of shoppers
stressing at some moments
but overall i kept myself
patient

we had an AandW coffee at the
food court

we did good buying our gifts
it was fun

gotta get up and work tommorrow
another busy day
