Eclipse

watched the eclipse in the sky
so high

got out and the moon was already
a rouge colour and three dimensional
very cool

talked to lady across the street
first time in over a year since
we have lived here
that was nice she and her husband
are older and they were at the
waterfront where people had telescopes
set up

i just got dressed and stood out
on the street because of the high
tension power lines running up
our street on our side on eight
foot wooden poles

we watched it and she went in
and i went in

i remember the one in eighty two
that i watched and then again in
ninety four or five and now
this one

it was very neat

my painting is coming along
nicely i should have it finished
tommorrow or thereabouts

havent been on Neopoet lately
its getting crowded and besides
that im running out of things
to write about anyway
i post about five poems per day
since getting on that thing
and as i said i have run out of
ideas

its the usual
bad love
sad love
gone love
missing love
hurt love
i cant have you love
you dont want me love

some descriptive stuff
some weird stuff
some stuff not in this
language
etc etc

we are broke and will be
until next Thursday

work went well today
which suprised me
not really much for
me to do
one of the tech people
is off because of illness
cold i think

will see tommorrow if
there is a lot to do or
not otherwise i have this
painting to finish
and sign to paint

its for a hunt camp
they guy has only waited
for a year for this

dragging my heels

dont know why
i paint away like a happy
ol soul when i'm actually
painting

house needs cleaning again
vacuming i need to do the
stairs and laundry room
and the apartment
mop the floors scrub the
kitchen dust the place

the works

I can hardly wait for summer
so we can sit out back and
enjoy the yard
climb the stairs to the upper
little lawn backing the trees
that seperate the properties
even a hill further up through
them

maybe watch some television
or something
now

the work walk today was brutal
cold but this time i had my
freakin hat on my head

havent been stopping to get
my lava coffee from the Shell
station JUMP coffee its called
and its like syrup and just
full of goodness for a dollar
ninety eight though!!!

every day thats expensive if
you ask me sixty dollars a month
just for coffee if i get one
every day

and then i used to get a dollar
thirty eight coffee for lori and
i on the way home too
and maybe a fattening old donut
carry the coffee on the cardboard
tray five streets to home
no eight streets maybe

well a long way at any rate

well enough blabbing for today
will come back again later
on in the week
