heavy and nonstop
like a thick pulse
like a thundering waterfall

lightening splurges
filling up the cracks in
the sky
drowning their hot fire
in tangle hisses

its silent now
quiet
the clouds have emptied
their bellies and moved
away

drawn by a fingers wind
elsewhere
