soft grey light of day
and nimble raindrops
hiding in the thickets
of grasses and tree
branches

a world of dreams visiting
walking amongst cities
with people I've recalled
seeing

environments of merciless
clarity the brick the rust
the pebbled alleyways
the deisel of the passing
city bus

awake to the grey yet
another soft light day
the long parade of summer
skies turned mute and low
