twenty fourth

day before christmas

is it cold
cannot tell
the blinds
shelter my view
the plants on the
stand fill up the
view from within

last night was warm
slush
not the bitter cold
the sewer openings
fumerole vents of
steam

stars hot in the
ice night winds
glittering in the
tear winds
that freeze lashs

large computer dead
for time being
tornado of viruses
worms maybe

only money and a magician
can free her from the
depths

enjoying my morning having
escaped dreams around
six

sitting here at laptop
not as fast but better then
NO computer trusty mouse
plugged into side

will be going for a morning
walk for coffee from Twiggs
fancy place downtown if open
perhaps maybe not

doesnt seem to be as windy as
yesterday

christmas is okay here
