almost

water running from roof into trough
the sound of it hissing through
new leaves emerging finally with the
taste of rain

kitchen cooking in pan
sizzling and bubbling the aroma
moving throughout here

laundry fresh and hot in the dryer
down there going round
the street vehicles swishing past
everything slick

and light starting to diminish as
night draws nearer

and the tapping of keys here
the whir of the computer fans
Now cleaned taken apart scrapped
of dust and put back in machine

my mind running as smooth almost
