my fingers clatter

keys the cheap NEXXTECH
keyboard

a shower runs
a busy home
and snowfalls
outside clouding
the grit of the
exposed with soft
hewn crystal
winking in the gleam
of sodium lamps
that glow like dreams

cats eyes watching
the street below
the window
