plastic encased hopefulness
suggestions
"do not take without food"
"dont operate heavy equipment"

wake up the fretful zombie until
the hour slips past in the routine
of work the vivid dreams supressed
and sleep washing over in fast
sucession

unlike the mind racing following
trails cornering routes
going over all the details
of days and years gone

it was horrible off them
horrible drinking years and years
ago its a kind of maintenance
approach now for all of it
and its not working either
but not as bad as it was

there is a roof and my own space
a routine I follow now
take the meds as best as Im supposed
to

realize that this is probably the
calmest ive been in a long long while
and thats something to be happy about

looking forward to the lunar eclipse
