warmth

still not snowing although its cold
and very windy today

not right to be this warm
with no snow
we have affected the weather
so that this too is not natural
but driven to this change

been putting things together
and sorting through the past
tidying up my life
getting ready for winter

reading my books
and hitting meetings
and just running steady
on the bike

there is a beauty in all
this that is visceral
and lenient of heaviness
