climbing from the clenched stomachs

blaze behind the eyes
like the glow of the evening
neath Novembers fury

I stand still
watching snowflakes and tailights
blur in the flurries

where is it Im going

the thunderous voice of
ache laments
like the snowfall violent
and envious of all gentle
