back

wake up wretched
the spine wrapped in its bundle
of hurt

but the dogs need the walk at
five forty one a.m. ghost town
time..the streetlight glow under
the overpass the rail line
curve the highway curve overtop

keep going..I should be grateful Im
alive that I can still pack things
on my wheels and do the six klicks
a day to work and back...see so many
with health issues now..cancer..
diabetes bad eyes..hearts..

this is just a back..but so very very
sore and aching....I make it and half
way through the day sleep actually..the dreams are so vivid sometimes..so real
Im about to go back there...
bad back and all!!!!
