we have them

blazing summer
its Winter
spring the long draw
the ice making lake
thick cold like now

the bike locked to the
bike racks outside

two only today
both rusted looking and
hardcore..
the ones who keep their
tires new
and chain oiled have
them in the basements
not
us two

chains rusted and
tires worn right off

what is it like to ride
through Christmas and July
freaking interesting as hell

running short of time
today

gotta jet home
from here
