dar days

pack sack...walking...big winter shoes
with lugs...a size too big for me..lace
up so I pull the laces tight...clomp..
but they got grip unlike the deck shoes
I wore now for since August!!
not winter shoes...like bowling shoes..
and the bike..no brakes on back
Technical issues.....no front brakes
wore them out from not having back
brakes and the cable freezes..dirt
old..ice in cables..and rear de railer
not working..ice in cables..dirt..
maing pedal bearing grinding out..
slowly getting slacker from dirt ice
oil.....soft tail suspension wearing
out..getting some lazy swing but
works..back tire wore out from running
on it all summer..fall and now winter..

stuff just wears..

black bike needs much work..new chain
cables...when....never..love it too much
to use it now..

foot beat was horrible today...just took
all this time...and cant remember
streets because its been some time
since I took zigs and zags..
and the city is huge assed muthafukkah
wide....
this is a big spread out city!!

I would have argued no...on the bike
all these months it doesnt take long
but oho was I wrong..
on foot it takes hours

which is what I did
spend all day walking
and working...

and all day it was cold and windy..
windy and cold...
