no clouds

sunshine and coolness
television full of american content
downtown just starting to fill up
with travellers and walkers
we still have some more things to
do down here in the city

serious today we have to find or
get a definitive answer from the rent
dude and gal about that apartment we
went to look at
Its perfect but we dont know if we
got it or not and its early so they
should phone us today but we are going
to meet them head-on at their office
to find out their results and if the
haven't chosen us then why not???

Last night I went to the meeting
and laid out on the grass between
the church and the business building
looking up at the roofline and the ivy
crawling up to the second floor
birds flying overhead and the odd
visible insect but it was totally
absent of clouds I was dissapointed
that there were no clouds and as a
result did not stay long at the meeting
At the meetings some people just go
on and on about their day which is sometimes very boring to listen too
because sometimes it has nothing to
do with being sober
