bright morning

sunshine through the blinds
stretching out in a thin line
to the wall beside me
Television broadcasting morning
news American show
Trucks or buses rumbling past
the corner out there

cats somewhere
coffee consumed
getting ready to go to
the shop for school again
today Had a half day of
it yesterday

waking up still yawning
and stretching to try to get
the ol blood flowing
(another big yawn)

feel like a cup of coffee still
maybe just make an instant one
we are out of coffee filters and
will resort to using a paper
towel as a replacement
at the food bank they only had
cone filters for coffee not
basket style
They have put up the points on
food over there so I didnt get
that much this time

havent gone bus riding lately
but have come home here

Its getting warmer out more and
more these days The sun hot and
tingling on the arms and scalp
when I stand out in it waiting
for the buses to come into the
terminal people sitting on the
benchs or reading the bus route
map on the wall

feel hungry make some toast
