More of the story

the drive was comforting
and the truck familiar with the
road Its potholes and sharp
twisting corners
the few intersections and lone
car or truck passing by

He admitted to himself long ago
that this love that hung on to his
heart so penchantly would never
part so he kept this secret
loving her from afar
Yet here it was in the late of night
and he was driving towards her
towards a destiny that would
unfold before them in the light
of morning

he felt alive more then anything
when she was around
He felt young again and would desire
to take her into his arms
stare into her green eyes
see that woman that he so long ago
cherished love him anew again
.....
