moving along

Hello out there
today is cool
crickets chirping in the grass
puffy white clouds overhead
waves on the lake
birds in the trees

it feels like autumn already
summer fading slowly
each day

I am at the school writing this
its lunch break
people out there talking and
milling around fifteen minutes
till back to work time
I have a sign to do
WELCOME with a little kitten
holding its little pretend
knitted mouse
fairly complicated painting
I should be done in two hours
lettering included
I like to work steady and
quickly

We have packed up some stuff
and have boxes already to go
for more stuff
we move in a few weeks time
we are happy about this
today is
good
