jots and dots and ramblings

the lake is haze glass green
like the peices of broken and
sculpted glass that would
wash up on the beach on the
shore of Lake Ontario near
Bowmanville put my eye to it
and it was like peering through
a tinted cataract

to the islands the lake is
this same alge colour god
i hope someone doesnt decide
to drive their snowmachine
out there yet or worse go
walking out on it
i dont think its strong enough
for that yet maybe
i wouldnt go out on it yet

here at home our tree is still
winking and blinking and i know
that Lori wont want to take
them down until April or May

she missed out on Christmas as
a child when her mother decided
to join the Jevohas Witness's
so she loves the trappings and
trimmings and gatherings of
people We are just now starting
to get rid of the food we had
from the big beast feast
it was the best Christmas i have
had in a long while

i left the television on in the
living room when i left to come
in here and write i had just finished
watching a show on Niagra Falls
i have been there twice and both
times in the summer once on my
own and once with a couple of people
its pretty damned amazing i just
stand there and watch the hypnotic
flow of the water feel the mist in
the air its so far down to the
turbulent waters crashing around
down there

anyway not much to say
left that is

will go out there and watch
some television and catch
some UTUBE siouxsie videos
tommorrow
