not the speed freak

i dont have church
i volunteer for bingo
for mental health

i stopped going to
Alcoholics Anonymous
and Narcotics Anonymous
not because the program
did not work
but because i stopped
working the program

and ive been through rehab
four times three times
i ended in the psych that
one time

i dont think fast like most
people i get hung up on
details or lack of it

and i cant play those
controllers quick like some
for those Playstation games

but so what
i go about paying the bills
up here i walk to all the
places myself

i do laundry and fold laundry
and put it away
and i can vacum and wash floors
scrub toilets and scoop shit
out of the kitty litter every
day

and i have been going to my
placement early and going over
my hours and being consistent

not bad for being a bit slow

at least i dont think so
