fire eating up the
darkness
sucking it all in
and funneling it all
up

cold nipping my fingers
and ears
getting in where the
outfit is overlapping

the imperfections
of size
the age of the
material

smoke blows into my
eyes and tears come
immediately

the smell is so rich
and meloncholic
i breath it in
thick and hot

feel the sparks singe
my hair

the stars
are alive overhead
silver fingerprints
vibrating

feel their wavelenghts
their decay of gases
