noodlefest
almost eight in the evening
lots of light left
was hot out high U.V. work went well
busy again
all i have for tommorrow
is two cast modifications
i have caught up with my
arch support well six will be ready for
tommorrow they are drying out
on top of the oven tonight no one will be at work tommorrow
except the Boss he was working in my room today
and we were talking about art
because he draws too and plays
drums both things that he has
put aside to pursue his business
and family i already had a couple of days
off so i will go in for tommorrow
and finish those modifications
so they will be all set and ready
to be fabricated next week each and every support and brace
that will be made from these hard
plaster casts of peoples limbs
comes from a hand crafted invidivual
item even though it would seem
like there would be a generic system
of just making something close
enough for length of arm etc
there is nothing like this deformities muscle and bone structure
types of amputations flat arch high
arch etc etc all call for unique
custom builds from which the brace
or support will be created from anyway other then working at the
woodstove store and putting stoves
together etc etc and working in
the store this job is the most
interesting so far worked at tourist camps for awhile
cut wood split wood dug in sewage
lines put in a weeping bed
put together water lines pipes
toilets some light electrical
work worked in a union for a few
years worked in a gold and silver
factory one summer that was
cool seeing carts full of gold
bar shiny and bright almost a
banana bright colour not the
dull gold i was used too worked for a few years with
masonry companies helping to
make footings basements brickwork
chimneys etc never worked in the food service
industry though No cooking
no dishwashing worked in a flooring
plant for a month shoving hardwood
planks to a guy who then shoved them
into a saw factory was built in
the twenties helped my ex sell real estate
wore a suit jacket and tie and
dress pants shoes on the weekend I personally know a butcher
and a guy who used to work in
a deli at a local huge grocery
store of chain stores food i love lamb
i suppose i must have eaten
it somewhere long ago right but Lori made it a few months
ago and i couldnt believe it
I was hooked instantly to it
we buy it almost every month
now just a small pack of lamb
chops well i am forty four this summer
in July sometime and my body
is the product of binge eating
and low exercise around forty i just started to
gorge on food and deserts and
i swelled up to an incredible
two hundred and seventy pounds a hard rock old timer freind
said i looked like an old bull
gator with chops but i love food treats snacks
etc i find real comfort in eating
since being with Lori
with Kelly it was different
we ate big meals Kelly and I but
then there was a lot of neurotic
walking about and long distant
hitch hiking trips and working
for her family members or herself Lori really buys good ol fashioned
food too and we eat good
ive come a long way from eating
out of dumpsters in Gravenhurst
Tim Hortons south i just figure i want to have this
weight on myself its like a
security blanket
i feel bad for my body having
to carry around all this extra
fat that it really doesnt need
its hard on my back and i have
high blood pressure another one of my freinds found
out they are now diabetic and
are on needles The disease
runs in my biological family
my knees bother me from the
weight to blah blah listening to LINKIN PARK My insides all turn to ash thats the opening line
and i love it I used to be my own protection
but not know another line this heat makes me feel ill
this weight my little world
walk to work
walk downtown
go to the mall all within a five mile
radius but thats all i need i know a freind of
mine who has never been
to Toronto Ontario Canada i used to hop a train at
night and get there first
thing in the morning
to walk around and check
things out I was fourteen
years old My dad worked
the railroad and back then
the family would get a free
train pass Okay i was fifteen
maybe not that old anyway
but i was five eleven back
then and one hundred and eighty
pounds just lived in this little
country hick town and then
wow here is the city
we would visit my cousins
when we were younger
on the outskirts
Rexdale when it was still nice all day i would just walk around
checking it out and then get
on a train at six and get to
the train station at Huntsville
at twelve and hop in the car
parked there and drive fifteen
miles home and eighty two i was eighteen
and driving a standard and went
to the city Never drove in a
city before and after work i would
drive all over the place getting
used to the city yah ive had an interesting life
so far all i know is that if i want
to lose weight its going to be
hard work and discipline
and results can be made but it
requires discipline
for all things
art projects i must do
here behind me
etc one thing about this city is
there is lots of people who
run play ball rollerblade
walk around that waterfront
from the train right of way
to lake Nippissing about a two kilometre stretch
no stores just gardens and benchs
a roadway and a paved bike path
and a paved walkway right close
to the water places for cars
to park to admire the spectacular
sunsets over the lake a beach and a play place for kids
and a bathroom and life gaurd
station its a pretty cool city rooms go for three hundred twenty
five Apartments go for six hundred
fifty plus hydro for a good one bus passes are eighty bucks a
month taxis are not too bad
everything is fairly close we have like three school/college
university campuses happening
its a nice campus
a flight school up at the
Jack Garland Airport we are in the process of building
a new hospital
lots of work going to be going on
between downtown and the waterfront
a walkway/pathway underneath the
Canadian Pacific Railroad line
just almost at the lake
from downtown other stuff etc listening to the MOOSE FM today
there will be a Heritage Festival
but MEATLOAF pulled out due to a
contract issue so this summers
heritage festival decided after
that to concentrate on the fest
to be more family oriented and
decided to drop the night time
acts so there will be no night
time music to bother the people
who live up from the waterfront
where all this will be going on all this is better then the original
winter time proposal to drop the
whole festival period!! i wont be there though
all the people make me nervous
cant handle them too bad though anyway thats the story of me
and my city up here
not bad eh??
we have crime
we have murder
as does any place but for the most part its
a decent place to live thats why i chose this place
instead of Orillia or Barrie
or Parry Sound or Sturgeon Falls
