Kan Ata Dae

got off from work early today
that was okay by boss and co workers
did my work well in the last few
days

got my monies

went and did errands
paid bills
picked up supper from the colonel
Chicken Man

thirty dollars for meal
fries gravey Cole slaw potato salad
twenty peices of chicken

carted that all home in my
pack sack

sweating like a pig
(dogs dont sweat)
thats why dogs roll in muddy
ol water to get cool

paid bills downtown somewhat
sweating all the way home

now stuffed with chicken
air conditioner on

two more work days to go
till weekend
and then Monday off because
up here in good ol' Kanata
we have the Canada Day Weekend

not sure if its a Crown holiday
or our own independence day type
holiday

not certian
even though i have been a Canadian
for almost fifty years

ha ha
