night on the old frontier

Friday coming up in a couple of
hours

listening to U tube musicians

covers of songs

and the like

all the different versions of
covers so strange to listen
over and over to the same song
the same manipulated chords

the same plaintive voices
wavering over the lyrics

like a shift change
watching the warriors march into
the LCBO to buy their favourite
brand of forget reality shots

the tight realms of un believers

the posers and hosers

the in betweens

and nere' be wells

guitar chords
some home made singers and their
cameras trained on themselves
some pretty damned good

but not like the professionals though
there is nothing like a pro though
nothing

chat is boring and cold in the water
my other site is interesting
and bittersweet

there is now tons of food and supplies
in the house
for the cats and us

so sweet eh

must it be so
laundry too
soap and dryer sheets
garbage thrown out
lid thumped down

listening to Terra Naomi
what a goddamn voice

its been so long since i heard
live music

probably be a long time too

damn

shes hot
