the long of it

Hey Chaos guess what?? my bike
i told my landlord about when he
was cooking on the bar bee q one
night and we were chuckling and
talking and he said his brother
fixed bikes and that he would
take it there and then soon after
i was drinking my pop sitting
on the chairs out back and he
came out with a little block of wood
and was writing down what size the
tires were and he said that he
would take it to his brother

anyway Lorraine came and got Lori
up for her interview and said that
Doug had gone and fixed my bike
and were couldnt believe it
and Lorraine says "Yah isnt he
sweet.. i think i'll keep him!!"

un believable though the bike
is completely rebuilt
seat is new
pedal bearings seal new
cable for front gears new
and adjusted

two new mountian bike tires with
aggressive tread

two new brake pads rear
gears adjusted

it a completely different bike
now the tires are solid and
that wobble is gone
just like you said
they adjusted the spokes and
the wobble is history

i still cant believe it
i have not had new tires
or a new bike in many many
years

the wobble was something else
and the seat was loose
but when i looked behind me
it was just like swivelling
on a bar stool

its a brand new bike now
incredible

Hey and you had a Velvet Underground
album too??

i only got introduced to them
around 2003 or earlier
Nico songs first and then Velvet
Underground and then Marianne Faithfull

back in the eightes and late nineties
i would buy that CREAM music punk
magazine But only for the pornographic photos of Wendy-O-Williams
with her black electrical tape across
her nipples Well i was only sixteen
then and it was very shocking

we used to watch her video of her
riding atop a school bus in the flat
salt deserts driving through a wall
of television sets
that was pretty shocking too in the
day

then Lou Reed in 1985 my ex girlfreind
from then used to sing along to
a song "take a walk on the wild side.."

it was only a few months ago did i
realize that the characters in the song
are really some pretty wild characters

pretty wild stuff

Beastie Boys four white guys
i found out kids of course
from the day

and was in at a local tatoo peircing
shop while my daughter got her lip
peirced and they were playing Black
Sabbath and i had not heard their
music since my hardcore brother
used to play this at home all the time

maybe its the hair
maybe its the meds
but im getting more cooler
in my old age

i was such an uptight asshole
before this
jugemental controlling manipulative
paranoid

hmm sounds like me a lot still

ha ha

well not as bad

anyway the music is fantastic
rediscovering DOORS again and
KATE BUSH some TOM WAITS and
NICK CAVE and FOO FIGHTERS

we have high speed finally and
U Tube videos i just watch and
no more stopping and waiting for
the download to catch up

plus im trying to lose weight
by eating portions these days
that are like maybe two instead
of three or four

horrible to think but thats what
i would do eat three portions
large too

went out for a walk with a male
freind Richard and met Len
we all had a great gab on the street

its nice to get back into hanging
out with some buds
we go for a walk around the
neighbourhoods chatting away

Hey Wisconsin is a lot like where
i was from Up here in North Bay
its sort of more flat spaces
terrances and not as many creeks
and lakes and bumpy hills swamps

but glaciation put its mark on
everything over there right??

the last ice age

i had a book on wisconsin once
it looks very pretty

I have to remember to put you as
one of my favourite diaries Chaos
because i always read your diary
first when i come online or at
night after a long day

so happy to hear your foot and
ankle are healing well
when its really healed you can
kick that guy in the ass who
made fun of you for wearing your
comfortable clogs in winter

i still am upset for him making
that comment to you
i dont like it when any of my
freinds get that kind of shit
from anyone ha ha

anyway ive written a whole book
today here havent i??

but i wanted to
im feeling good
i like this time of year

well must be off
