saturday sept 14

Saturdaymorning bright and cheery
the wind in the trees the open window
behind the closed white blinds
the hair dryer whirring away in
the bedroom where lori does her
hair at her little vanity and chair

drank a TIM HORTONS coffee and made
five eggs for my breakfest with
ketchup and lots of pepper and sea
salt all ground fresh from the little
dispeners

checked my now mostly important
other sites before remembering
Diaryland and was shocked to see
i have come to now let five days
go by without updating or anything

big secret my poetry site i am
letting it slide also these days
for MOST POPULAR i am on there
three times before page three

thats pretty good i think considering
the site is based in New York

i can hear a chain saw going somewhere
far away towards downtown
its that time of year i used to
use a chainsaw years ago and still
know how to fall trees limb cut
firewood and sharpen and maintain
the saw Got my chainsaw liscence
still it was so cool to get the
thing just vibbing and to cut into
a big old tree So masculine and
sexy i though

but i traded it in for a vacum
cleaner which i use very often
i sucked up the cigarette butts
down at the front door where the
ladies smoke we have a big long
neighbours hedge which is seven
feet tall and its cool and then
theres the big birch tree which
fills up the space above
the brick old homes across the
street and trees anyway there is
the little wooden stand and butt
can and i thought as i was doing
the stairwell one step at a time
with the hose and attatchment
to just suck up the butts

big mistake im just so used to
using the powerful shop vac at
work it plugged up my little
womanly vacum and then the stupid
stinky butts blew out foul air
and i just continued to use the
vacum and it was horrible and
i had just put in a new bag too

i tried to empty the old one but
there was so much cat hair from
Caramel that it plugged up into
a ball and ripped the bag i was
so mad i hate these little bags
and dont like shopping for them
because i can never find them

anyway brand new and stunky
crap!!

i am just mostly looking at U tube
videos of old time steam trains
and train stuff in canada
and then music videos
and old television shows from
when i was a child the intros
anyway the latest one was
SKIPPY THE BUSH KANGEROO
what a memory rush listening to
the song of the opening title

gotta go shopping today at
Value Village down on Lakeshore
the store is so cool and there
are always interesting looking
women in there shopping for
the bargains i like looking
at all the junk they have for
sale too

and i get to go on a bus ride
down Main West to Lakeshore

or i spend my time flying my
FA-18 KOREA DEMO game i downloaded
for free and my MICROSOFT SIDEWINDER
joystick its cool flying around
i love flying

anyway thats my life
pretty normal

work is good
busy enough
learning new things
keeping the shop clean
and tidy and maintained
and keeping up with my
plaster modifications

i love listening to the radio
