april 2007

raining out or snowing
wet dampness abound

spring is working its way north
the geese came in one night
around three in the morning

its been relatively cold though
for the usual balmy springs
sometimes we have had

been writing Neopoet like
crazy we are allowed one poem
per day but i go through all
my four hundred and fifty some
odd entries since july 7 2007
and see who has commented on
these and i rewrite the poems
and read others and comment on
their poems also

plus i can get on this chat
where the Diaryland chat for
me is too mucked up

we are sleepy with the grey
and rain but we have to eventually
get downtown and get our cheque
cashed and pay the rent and buy
groceries

we do two shopping buggies full
from a very nice well to do place
near the big Northgate Mall up
here its always around three
hundred dollars and then ten
or fourteen dollars for the cab
home and yes all that does fit
into most cabs usually we have
a cab company that buys Impalas
and these domestic cars seem to
not have that bad of a trunk
size

we are tired though as i say
Lori has found a computer gang
human pets off of facebook
and there is this thing one
must do called "thumbing" which
means you click on icons fifteen
per page and this usually means
one hundred or more per session

so this takes until one in the
morning by the time i get going
on them for Lori and then
im online for two more hours
after every night for the full
week

after a week of this i sleep
all weekend with hardly anything
getting done Lori included

no laundry got done
the apartment needs cleaning
no shopping will get done today
by the sounds of it

we are just too beat

looks like im going on a mission
over to Northgate about a kilometere
stretch across city on the bike

somewhere ive lost my baseball
hat too probably put away somewhere
i dont care i have my hair back in
a ponytail so rain isnt a problem

human pets all the thumbing gives
you points to buy pets things from
shops on the virtual thing

im not really sure how it all works
or why im not that social
and it seems its for really social
people judging from the comments
and email connections and
conversations written back and forth
otherwise things are going okay
here with us

kids come and go for visits which
is good we really love this
and so do the kids very comfortable
for them to visit

we have the extra beds to sleep on
etc

well gotta go for today
just dropping an entry because i
forget about putting stuff up here
on this site

and flying my plane site way too
much learning how to dogfight with
jets and my world war two favourites
the spitfire the lancaster and the
focke wolf 190 oh the p-51 also

i didnt get a good graphics card
when i bought this thing dummy me
so some games ive bought dont work
im saving them because one day
for seventy dollars i can get
a card that runs everything

until that day....

work is going smashingly well
bought donuts for the office
last Friday because im up to
nine dollars an hour which is
basically the bottom end
with extra i think minimum
wage here in Ontario Canada now
is eight seventy five or coming
up to that so the bosses like
me enough to boost my wage to
the even nine

wow thanks guys!

not much work today so im home

but all our bills are paid
and we have enough for food and
some new shoes for me to work
in the winter boots are just
going to be too warm soon

the poets are a touchy bunch
but there are some pretty good
talent on there of all ages
lots of politics and teeth
nashing too at times
all just enough to be interesting

well gotta go
for today
