spring is here
ice just has to go out
of the lake

patched the front
step today
the old joint they
made with the quick
cut broke through and
dropped almost an inch
this year
all the old patchwork
simply corroded

so i mixed up some of their
patch cement stuff

havent done this in ages
and ages
had a busted putty knife
thing No trowel and a cheap
sweep up broom with dustpan
to draw across the wetness
and make the rough linework
to match the existing
walkway

just a regular handy kind of
guy over there

gotta come home tommrrow
and clean up this place
scrub tidy dust put away
wash dishes vacum etc etc

was at Neopoet for hours
reading looking at poems

was busy thumbing Loris
pets

havent got much time here
anymore it seems

even been laggin on Facebook

just a phase

still come here to read
though and compose

havent forgotten
