ten days??

two whole weeks since ive been here
im failing here
letting this fall
fade away

i didnt want this to end like
this

i never thought i would
abandon you
but im losing you
letting you slip through
the fingers of time
like rain gathering on the
night
singing in the darkness
in her whispers
sweet and damp

i ache to taste the
tears of heaven
feel them cool
my passions
standing in the
cold grasses
standing in memories

standing alone
watching it all receed

soon summer
will be here
eating up the mercury
filling the sun
with ardour
the beat of fast times
and busy streets

its going to be a long
one here

unfortunately

there is supply and
demand
and the city wears new
clothes
the old have fallen
extinguishing themselves
like moths to their flames
beloved and lost
but not forgotten

and now the new
fires burn

let the stand make
its place

i dont know what more to
say

forgive me
i still have something
of a concsience
like a quest
maybe i have loosened
my meaning

the dear deaths
clouding judgement
spread the cards

peer into the
unknown

the water
wicker
