concubine stars
admidst the cloud dream
surface

listen greatly
to the damp ear
laying on horizons
gentle sway

beneath this surface
curtian ripples mystery
and depth
and all charmed leviathian
and minute tendril life
that beats and
moves and slinks and
swims

the pulse surge of the
planet dance
the moon embrace
and her many gowns
of showing

this glistening
undulating stillness
and all the flicker
