Im late..

meds and calm calamity
and the sky filled with thick
cotton clouds
rain is not far off
I take a breath and can smell
it rattling in the trees
sighing in the wires

not far off

tommorrow is payday
cheque day a pocket of dollars
food sustenance
a new jacket from the Surplus store
a two twenty five bus ride to
the end of the line and short walk
maybe
and maybe
alcohol
despite my length of days sober
lately the meetings of many
the open honest talking of late

must go and catch one now
