taking time to come back
Lahlahland takes its costs
cats and dog dozing here
cold in this place but
its their roof when I stay
its mine too for awhile

been listening to music
per usual and hit the
soup kitchen sponsored
by an italian chain in
the city and served by
their beautiful staff
Penne and salad with
fresh ground cheese
and coffee
some kind of draw for
the local sports team
hoodies Nothing like
city spirit Jill asked
me if I wanted more
guess I looked pretty
haggard getting old
takes some adjusting
like putting on socks
and finding a hole
or a tear in the pants
Like waking up one day
and not being able to
define small print
without reading glasses
or worse looking in
the mirror and looking
rather vintaged and not
in a classical appealing
way Ha ha

ah well its a sunny old
cold cold day and Im
alive Im grateful!
