craziness

winter arrives
and the loader
scraps the snow
in heaps for the
complex kids to
build forts

shovelled the walk
today and put out
salt on the ice
swept the front
small landing
and knocked the
snow from the welcome
mat

had to take a trip
downtown and was
walking much with
little sleep in the
past four days
amazing how this takes
a toll on an already
stressed body
but I will rest tonight
the monkeys on my back
are resting and the
squirells in the attic
have settled somewhat

maybe I'll dream something
half decent for a change
anythings possible
