the summer
life is consumed
with cold
mists from the
creek streams
rising in a humid
plume

a colour scheme
sucked high upon
the hills
and dripping
on our rainforest
table..
sprinkler deluge
cigarette
come morning
the nic hit
the more rush
the caffienne
staple diet

no breakfest
no lunch
no sorrow
no hunch

brilliant
reds to shine
medallions
of wind
freed by
the slurry
rains
the dreamfed
nights sobbing
from the eaves
broken like
a wretched ballad
while the white
fuzz dialogue
consumes my
collection
of summer skies
pinned like
winged
trophy delicate

the darkness
in the bright
life of stars
like distortions
of wavelengths
in the killing
jar
