old er..

over a month i hit fifty
never asked the old man
either one..birth or real dad
who adopted me if he fit into
his world or not..
leave it to me to ponder this
one...

i exist more writing
electronic then even the
physical archive paperwork

there is a mountian of this
elsewhere
not poetry but of study
a telephone size book
reports....meetings.

just a day of ponderance
good news is im meeting
those ten years older
so i have hope..
they made it and are not
asking these kinds of
questions yet...
maybe im ahead of being
old

got a jump on it..

but i feel mortal today...

maybe its a good thing
be like my dog
curl up and nap more
