eight daze

weather...cool now..but not much rain..enough...unlike one year where
it rained after twelve..all day..
so poorly did the sun shine the tomatos
did not ripen...

and then the storms another years..
winds..that roared through downtown
tearing rooftops apart...downing
trees across the old poles....power
out for three days....

work work work....going....everyone
and all under stress.....

my old lady and i are doing what we
can....it was tough times when we
met so we know this route well..
nothing suprises us....

still smoking...still writing poetry
elsewhere....remember when i did this
here too...
