the mug beneath the black
water spout
blue push button light
the dragons gurgle and
hiss..steam falling
spitting
the tea bad turning dark
swirling...the spoon
flashing
the hot sunshine peeking
through the shade of
kitchen..the air conditioner
droning away
a television show on
same station
every other day

the lemon smells
sweet and bitter
just a dash of
white sugar
a heap of whitener
to soften it

away too chores
book..television
u tube
or nothing
but feet up
watching the wind
in the trees
past the bamboo
blinds to the back
yard...
