edging the nites best

mellow...the walk in the sallow of
the afternoon sun
a few walkers out
many actually
baseball field busy with its
sounds of cheers and hits
my portable phone with its
scratchy transistor sound
some old vintage songs
the dog panting and happy

the old forgotten parking lot
overlooking the lake

dinner was pleasant and delicious
and filling.

and now the mellow music I logged
into
from D-Lands poets
when I was up higher..
now down descending like Erik
to his lake
the phantom dream lair
of imagination alive
and slick with is shimmer

Lana Del Rey...

and pre summer starting its
bloom
the wildlife out strutting
their stuff
a power emergence
primitive and
alive

darkly delicious
