why bother to get to know
oneself through word mazes

not lonely today
Lori cuddled at home
awaiting my return
we have lots of food
this month
everything paid for
will hock my cd player
no more Metric
No more Echo and the Bunnymen
from the eighties

remember those days
where I was working
what I was doing or not
doing in High school
then

today I am dressed in black
black nails black tribal
tatoo of Lori on my left hand
permanent with a little heart
over the lower case I
and hoodie and jacket
from Rama Public Works
a local native reserve
with a Casino on it
near the City of Orillia
Ontario Canada
basically a local casino
for those whom cannot
cross the american border
its not far from Toronto
and not far from here
buses go regularly there
I have no gambling addiction
Just Booze
