roses on the hedge wall
are losing their petals in the heat
having bloomed in the heavy rains
of yesterday they smell so wonderful
walking along the sidewalk
i want to bag them up and put them in
a big bowl in the apartment

12 minutes left to write
so many now
what thoughts to conclude on here today
that I am happy and tired though
that I need another coffee to wake up
that I still wish for a nightime thuderstorm to watch from the windows
