rain no thunder

supposed to get storms up here in this
city but so far we have had only few
I love the lightening the crash
and rumble of the thunder
the rain hitting the glass heavily
looking out from under the eave of
the front porch and looking in from
our upstairs apartment window

when I was working we would sit in
the trucks until it subsided or until
it became evident that it would continue
and that we would pack up and go home
They rain on the trucks roof drumming
away the rain slopping down the windows
it was fun I loved the rain

well enough out of me
back to looking and writing on the
diaryland members sites
..
