bird chalk buns

went for a walk to the bakery
BUNSMASTER
saw an elderly man pushing a mulching
lawmower the smell of fresh cut grass
and two cycle gas
Dandylions sprouting up on the south
side of the next large apartment south
of us People building a deck at the
end of the street Julies workers still
working to move her stuff

the sun shinging down the naked branchs
throwing spider like shadows on the side
walk Cartoon
characters drawn on the concrete with
blue chalk

the Amish program still on
Kitten Tweet playing with the stuffed
mouse Amish program over

A big black bird landed on the roofs edge of the second apartment to the
south of us and the shadow on the ground
was very large It was a black raven
(as opposed to a blue or green raven)

they have some cute girls working at
BUNSMASTERY brown skinned girls
in their red aprons I didnt mind
going and buying us six sticky buns
for three fourty five

they were delicious....
