tire fire

suns out and its very hot Can feel
it while waiting at the two stops we
took getting home from the shop
Painted for the morning and then had
the free bowl of soup at the canteen
today was cream of mushroom with
crackers

Anyway went into the woodworking part
of the shop and got some wood
We have this humungous air conditioner
that I busted my back getting into
the window (first I had to figure out
how to get the screen out...)

so now the air conditioner sits where
I want it to sit Lori wanted it in
the opposing side of the living room
window but it works where it is and
thats all there is too it

what else Oh on the way home there
was a fire behind the old junkyard
where Pinewood turns around just
beside the tracks and the Nuns
Motherhouse right on the lake
black smoke was roiling into the air
of the blue sky and from where the
bus turns onto 17B we were all
guessing the source of the fire
"the indian reserve" said one
"The humane society shelter" said
another when we finally pulled up
to where we turn around we could
see it was behind this old warped
building some tires maybe got
away on them and burned up
the fire department got there
ahead of us and were extinguishing
the fire as we pulled away down
the street towards the terminal

personally I liked the Humane
society story all the pets burning up
the howling the screaming of the
cats (agghhh gawd)

but it was just the junkyard
oh well

Now I have to go out and pay bills
Hydro and Telereconnect

so off I go

ride the buses
got our new May bus pass
more bus riding ahead
horray
..O...
