its a moon
just a day from being fulll

Tonight??

so tired today from running
on the bike
errands all weekend long
driving through traffic
parking locking
driving carrying groceries
and bags of stuff

busy summer streets
hot with sunshine
loud with noise

the mall concourse so noisy
just with people eating
and talking
moving

we are such a loud race
we make such cacaphony

bike some more
black shoes shinning
pumping the plastic black
pedals
the rusted pitted rims
oil coated
the bashed up bike
chipped of paint
loose at all bearing points
still going though
still moving
still flowing
gliding from curbs across
lawn corners
up grades leaning into
the front to gain more
push
black rubber handlegrips

hot sun beating down
