a.m.

cooler now at nights
crickets calling in the evening
signal of summers end so very
soon gone are the hot swelter
in the shelter of homes apartments
dwellings

I welcome the winter coming
the cold skies the torn clouds
all full of clear light the haze
gone the humidity reduced
the snowflakes return those magical
crystals formed around the grit of
grain in our atmosphere delicate
and descending ever so slow unlike
rain which is needed
for ever season there is a purpose

day here went well
coffee and dinner
and dog walking
and internet music forever

slept well enough yesterday
and luckily forget the dreams
when I woke up
doubt this will happen this
morning but it could happen

am content enough...
